As a parent of an often times chronically anxious/worried/depressed child, with low-self-esteem, we created this set to help our child push on and try and break through the cycle of anxiety. We believe this book would be a great tool for anxious adults too!
The goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety, but to help manage it better. If we can learn to tolerate and understand the anxiety/worries and function as well as we can - even when feeling overwhelmed - we can hope that the anxiety will decrease or fall away over time.
Sometimes when their minds are so full of their anxieties, worries and negativity that they do not always realise – that something that day was actually very good – it could be they sat beside their favourite friend at school, they helped someone out. Writing it down helps them focus and find the positive aspect in their day.
